Russian Railways to ensure exports of at least 54.1 mln tonnes of coal from Kuzbass, other regions under non-discriminatory railway access conditions in 2025
MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - JSC Russian Railways (RZD) will ensure the export of at least 54.1 million tonnes of coal from the Kemerovo region in 2025 as well as coal exports from other regions under the non-discriminatory access rule for railway routes, the Russian government said in a statement issued following a meeting of the subcommission on enhancing the financial sector's stability and specific industries.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has instructed the Energy Ministry and the Transport Ministry to hold meetings with representatives of ports and RZD to develop an optimal tariff policy for coal exports, the statement said.
