Alrosa expects production volume of 33 mln carats in 2024 - CEO

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - Alrosa expects a production volume of 33 million carats in 2024, Alrosa CEO Pavel Marinychev said during a discussion of the preliminary results of Alrosa's operations, the press service of Yakutia's governor reported.

"The company will fully implement the production plan this year, with the output volume totaling 33 million carats of rough diamonds, which is 100% in line with the planned figure," Marinychev said.

Alrosa produced 34.6 million carats of rough diamonds last year. Marinychev in May said that the company did not plan to cut production volumes.
