EEC extends anti-dumping duty on seamless pipes from China until Sept 24, 2025
MOSCOW. Dec 17 (Interfax) - The board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on hot-deformed seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant steel originating in China until September 24, 2025.
The duty was originally set to expire on January 31, 2025, and the decision to extend it is in connection with the ongoing repeat anti-dumping investigation, the EEC trade bloc said.
The Eurasian Economic Union's regulatory framework envisages prolonging the timeframe of the current anti-dumping measure while the repeat anti-dumping investigation is ongoing, and the investigation should wrap up within 12 months of the start date, the EEC said, noting that the repeat investigation began in September 2024.
The EEC set the anti-dumping duty on hot-deformed seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant steel from China in December 2019 at 15.5% of the customs value.
