Rostelecom invests in digital platform developer Imredi

MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - PJSC Rostelecom is investing in Imredi, a developer of digital platforms for retail, Russia's national telecom provider said.

The company did not disclose the amount of the investment or the size of the stake it acquired.

The Unified State Register of Legal Entities showed that Rostelecom's venture capital fund, Commit Capital LLC acquired 3.69% of Imredi LLC on December 13.

Cooperation with Imredi is aimed at expanding Rostelecom's line of digital products for the retail sector, the company said. For Imredi, Rostelecom will serve as a strategic investor and partner.

"It is planned that the Imredi platform will become the core of Rostelecom's digital business for the retail sector. The partnership will make it possible to expand sales channels and the customer base, as well as accelerate the development of the products and services portfolio, which will help strengthen Rostelecom's position as a leading player on the retail chain digitalization market," the company said.

Imredi, a resident of Skolkovo, is the developer of a digital platform for control and development of retail chains that combines solutions for standard control, management of tasks, operations and employees, as well as promotions and on-shelf availability. Imredi is the only solution on the market that covers the digitalization needs of four business areas for retailers: operations, marketing, HR and retail technologies, the press release said. Combining more than 60 pre-configured business processes on the platform, Imredi provides an integrated mobile workstation for retail workers.

Imredi was incorporated in May 2017 and has charter capital of 30,000 rubles. The company closed 2023 with net profit down 37.4% to 100.4 million rubles on revenue up 1.7% to 192.4 million rubles.

Pyotr Borisov and Maxim Semerenko each own 33.7% of the company, and Andrei Ivanov and Daniil Savin each own 14.44%.
