Ukrainian government approves taking IBRD's budget support grant of up to $15 billion
MOSCOW. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The government of Ukraine has approved taking a grant of up to $15 billion from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for budgetary support.
The government made this decision at a meeting on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the government's representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
In particular, the government approved getting a grant for budgetary support from the IBRD acting as an executive agency of the financial mediation foundation facilitating attracting resources for investments in Ukraine's strengthening, as part of the eighth additional financing of the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) Project totaling up to $15 billion.
