Ukraine exports nearly 18 mln tonnes of grain in marketing year 2024/2025 - ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 2 (Interfax) - Ukraine has exported 17.978 million tonnes of grains and legumes from the beginning of the marketing year 2024/2025 to November 28, including 3.579 million tonnes in November, Ukrainian media said, citing the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry and the State Customs Service.

The overall shipments stood at 12.921 million tonnes as of November 27, 2023, including 3.681 million tonnes in November, the media said.

The exports of all main crops are larger in the marketing year 2024/2025 than they were last year. Since the beginning of the current season, exports have amounted to 8.837 million tonnes of wheat (5.755 million tonnes in the marketing year 2023/2024), 1.856 million tonnes of barley (870,000 tonnes), 10,800 tonnes of rye (900 tonnes), and 6.976 million tonnes of corn (6.07 million tonnes).

Ukrainian flour exports from the season beginning to November 28 are estimated at 31,300 tonnes (49,200 tonnes in the marketing year 2023/2024), including 28,600 tonnes of wheat flour (47,100 tonnes).
