Russian govt proposes to extend the right to hold AGMs in absentia until 2025 - source
MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The Russian government has drafted amendments to extend the right of companies to hold annual general meetings of shareholders and participants in absentia until 2025, a source familiar with the amendments told Interfax.
The amendments would be made to Federal Law No. 25-FZ on Amendments to the Federal Law on Joint-Stock Companies and on the Suspension of Certain Provisions of Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
