Air Astana, Etihad Airways sign codeshare agreement

ASTANA. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Air Astana and Etihad Airways have signed a codeshare agreement for a number of flights, Air Astana's press service said.

The agreement came into force on November 26, 2024.

The codeshare agreement will apply to Etihad Airways flights to Mumbai, Riyadh, Dammam, Bahrain, Cairo, Doha, Kuwait and Muscat.

Passengers from Kazakhstan will be able to take Etihad's flights in Abu Dhabi after being delivered there by Air Astana's direct flights, which were launched from Astana in late October this year and begin from Almaty on December 5, 2024, according to the press service.

Today, Air Astana has codeshare agreements with eight airlines from other countries.

Air Astana is the largest air carrier in Kazakhstan. Air Astana wholly owns low-cost airline FlyArystan.
