EEC extends anti-dumping duty on cast aluminum wheels from China for 5 years
MOSCOW. Nov 19 (Interfax) - The board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on cast aluminum wheels from China until November 18, 2029, the EEC's trade division said.
"The decision was made following a repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Department of Internal Market Protection on December 27, 2023, due to the expiration of the applied measure, based on a request from wheel manufacturers in the Eurasian Economic Union [EAEU]," EEC Trade Minister Andrei Slepnyev was quoted as saying.
An anti-dumping duty of 33.69% on cast aluminum wheels from China was established by an EEC decision in March 2019. The measure was originally set to expire on April 27 this year but was extended until December 26, 2024, due to the launch of the repeated investigation. The initiators of the investigation were the Russian companies SKAD Foundry and Mechanical Plant LLC, Azov-Tek LLC and Khomen Wheels LLC, as well as the Kazakh company Vector Pavlodar LLP.
