Kazakhstan exports all oil planned for Germany this year in 10M
ASTANA. Nov 19 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan exported 1.2 million tonnes of oil to Germany in January-October, the Kazakh Energy Ministry told Interfax.
This is all the oil planned for export in 2024.
Kazakhstan's started to ship oil to Germany via the Transneft pipeline system towards the Adamowo-Zastawa oil delivery point last year. Kazakhstan transported 993,000 tonnes towards Germany in 2023 as a whole. Karachaganak Petroleum Operating provided the oil.
Kazakhstan is open to boosting supplies to Germany's market, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said. Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev has said Germany had asked for annual oil supplies to increase from 1.2 million tonnes to 2.5 million tonnes.
