Ukrainian grain export in 2024/25 MY exceeds last season's by 5 mln tonnes - Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Ukraine has exported 16.255 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the start of the 2024/25 marketing year, including 1.856 million tonnes shipped abroad in November alone, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry's statement and the State Customs Service data.

As of November 15, 2023, exports of Ukrainian grains and legumes were estimated at 10.968 million tonnes, including 1.728 million tonnes shipped abroad in November 2023 alone.

Exports of all key crops from Ukraine are considerably larger this year than in 2023. In particular, Ukraine has exported 8.289 million tonnes of wheat, compared to 5.225 million tonnes in the same period in the 2023/24 marketing year, 1.737 million tonnes of barley (749,000 tonnes), 10,700 tonnes of rye (900 tonnes), and 5.945 million tonnes of corn (4.865 million tonnes).

The overall exports of Ukrainian flour since the start of the season have been estimated at 28,500 tonnes (compared to 46,000 tonnes in the 2023/24 MY), including 26,000 tonnes of wheat flour (44,200 tonnes).
