Russian, Colombian FMs discuss bilateral relations, Ukraine and Palestine-Israel crises
MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo have discussed bilateral relations and key items of the international agenda at a meeting in Moscow on November 14, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"During the meeting, which passed in a warm and trusting atmosphere, the parties considered principal areas of Russian-Colombian ties, including in the context of the 90th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations to be marked in 2025," it said.
Lavrov and Murillo "discussed key international problems, including the Ukraine and the Palestine-Israel crises," it said.
"They outlined plans for promoting interaction on international platforms. Russia reaffirmed its willingness to further contribute to international efforts coordinated by the UN Security Council toward facilitating a peacebuilding process in Colombia," it said.
