Russia's consolidated budget surplus drops to 577.3 bln rubles in Jan-Sept - Treasury
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Russia's consolidated budget surplus totaled 577.3 billion rubles in January-September 2024 according to preliminary estimates, the Federal Treasury said in materials posted on its website.
Russia's consolidated budget surplus totaled just over 1.766 trillion rubles in January-August 2024, the Federal Treasury previously reported, meaning that it was executed at a deficit of 1.189 trillion rubles in September.
Consolidated budget revenues totaled just under 49.358 trillion rubles and expenses totaled just over 48.78 trillion rubles in January-September.
Russia's federal budget deficit expanded to 734 billion rubles in January-September from 27.6 billion rubles in January-August. Consequently, the federal budget deficit totaled 706.4 billion rubles in September.
Federal budget revenues totaled about 24.972 trillion rubles and expenditures totaled just over 25.706 trillion rubles in the nine months.
The consolidated budgets of Russia's constituent entities were executed at a surplus of nearly 1.039 trillion rubles in January-September, down from just over 1.351 trillion rubles in January-August.
The revenues of regional budgets totaled nearly 16.946 trillion rubles and expenditures totaled nearly 15.907 trillion rubles in the period.
The budgets of state non-budgetary funds were executed at a surplus of 144.7 billion rubles in January-September, with revenues totaling nearly 14.195 trillion rubles and expenditures totaling nearly 14.5 trillion rubles.
The budgets of territorial state non-budgetary funds were executed at a surplus of 127.8 billion rubles, with revenues totaling nearly 2.533 trillion rubles and expenses totaling nearly 2.405 trillion rubles.
