Ukrgazvydobuvannya pays UAH 18 bln gas rent this year

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - The company Ukrgazvydobuvannya (UGV) paid UAH 18 billion in gas rent to Ukraine's consolidated budget in January-October 2024.

Ukrainian media reported, quoting the company's website, that UGV paid 5% or UAH 902 million to regional and local budgets in the regions where the company produces hydrocarbons.

The payments included UAH 469 million to the Kharkov region, UAH 359.6 million to the Poltava region, UAH 35.9 million to the Lvov region, UAH 17.5 million to the Dnepropetrovsk region and UAH 20 million to other regions.

UGV raised commercial gas production 6.5% year-on-year in January-September 2024 to 10.4 billion cubic meters and liquid hydrocarbon output 26% to 372,000 tonnes. It produced 13.224 bcm of commercial gas in 2023, up 679 mcm from 2022.

Naftogaz owns 100% of UGV.
