Armenian PM, French president discuss Yerevan-EU ties, visa liberalization
YEREVAN. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Dialogue on liberalizing visa rules between Armenia and the European Union was on the agenda of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Budapest.
"The parties touched upon issues related to joint programs in the economy, infrastructure and other areas. They discussed cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, including the reforms being implemented in our country with the EU's support, as well as the dialogue on liberalizing visa rules," the Armenian government's press service said.
Pashinyan and Macron also exchanged views on the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan reaffirmed Yerevan's commitment to the peace agenda and steps to ensure security and stability in the region.
