Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry says progress made at peace talks with Armenia

BAKU. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Progress has been made at the peace treaty talks with Armenia, yet there are still some challenges and risks to their conclusion, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

"Important progress has been made at the bilateral negotiations with Armenia initiated by Azerbaijan. However, despite progress made at the negotiations, there are still challenges and risks to the successful completion of the peace talks," the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry listed militarization of Armenia and the remaining territorial claims against Azerbaijan in the Armenian constitution among the risks and challenges hindering the conclusion of the peace treaty.
