U.S. aid transparency, accountability inspector general arrives in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - United States Department of State Inspector General Cardell Richardson has arrived in Kiev to oversee the transparency and accountability of U.S. assistance to Ukraine, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said.

"Great to welcome U.S. Department of State Inspector General Richardson to Ukraine," Ukrainian media quoted Brink as saying on her social account on Monday.

"The OIG's work to ensure transparency and accountability of U.S. assistance is a critical part of our efforts to support Ukraine's aspirations to join the EU and NATO," she said.
