Russian Central Bank affirms list of 13 systemically important banks

MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia has affirmed the list of systemically important lending institutions that account for around 79% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector, the regulator posted on its website.

The list comprises 13 banks and has not changed since 2023.

The Central Bank of Russia henceforth lists the following banks as being systemically important: UniCredit Bank; Gazprombank ; Sovcombank ; VTB ; Alfa-Bank; Sberbank ; Credit Bank of Moscow (MKB) ; Otkritie Bank FC (to be integrated into VTB in 2025); TBank ; Rosbank (soon to become a branch of T-Bank); Promsvyazbank ; Raiffeisenbank; and Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank).
