Two Ionosfera satellites, 53 mini-satellites to be launched from Vostochny on Nov 5 - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - A Soyuz-2.1b rocket carrying two Ionosfera-M satellites and an additional payload of 53 Russian and foreign mini-satellites is due to be launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome on November 5, Roscosmos said on Friday.
"The launch of a Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a Fregat upper stage, carrying Ionosfera-M1 and M2 and an additional payload of 53 Russian and foreign mini-satellites, has been scheduled for 02:18:40 on November 5," Roscosmos said.
A state commission has allowed placing the rocket on the launch pad of Vostochny Cosmodrome Area 1S on November 2, it said.
The launch of another two Ionosfera-M satellites is due in 2025, Roscosmos said.
