Ozon opens new fulfilment center in Yaroslavl

MOSCOW. Oct 31 (Interfax) - Ozon Marketplace has opened a new fulfillment center in Yaroslavl.

The company has invested 4.3 billion rubles in equipment and IT infrastructure, Ozon said in a press release issued on Thursday.

Sellers can register for product deliveries, and shipments of orders to customers will begin on November 11. At the current stage, the fulfillment center covers an area of 40,000 square meters, which will be expanded to 80,000 square meters by summer.

The logistics hub will be able to process up to 800,000 orders a day when it reaches full capacity.

Ozon's logistics infrastructure exceeds 3 million square meters. The company has 42 fulfillment centers, more than 150 sorting centers and more than 50,000 pick-up points in Russia and the countries of the CIS.
