Ukraine's Nova Post launches courier delivery, reception of parcels in Netherlands
MOSCOW. Oct 29 (Interfax) - Nova Post, Ukraine's largest logistics operator, has launched delivery services on the Netherlands market and is planning to open its offices in Amsterdam and Utrecht soon, Ukrainian media said, citing the company's press service.
"Nova Post is already working with courier delivery in all cities of the Netherlands. We are also planning to open our own offices in Amsterdam and Utrecht to make even more services available for our clients," the Nova Post press service quoted Nova Post Netherlands CEO Anton Chernysh as saying.
The Netherlands became the 16th foreign market for the company, the press service said.
Clients can order delivery from Ukraine to any address in the Netherlands and use courier services to send parcels. Parcels can be sent all over the Netherlands and between countries in Europe. Private clients and companies could send parcels of up to 1,000 kilograms, the press service said.
Since October 21, 2024, the current tariff on delivery for individuals stands at 1,000 hryvni for documents of up to 1 kilogram, 1,050 hryvni for small parcels of up to two kilograms, 1,600 hryvni for medium-sized parcels of up to ten kilograms, and 2,600 hryvni for large parcels of up to 30 kilograms. Parcels that weigh from 30 to 100 kilograms cost 120 hryvni per kilo, and from 100 kilograms - 250 hryvni per 100 kilograms.
Delivery from Ukraine to the Netherland takes up to four days and from one day across the Netherlands and to other European countries.
It was reported earlier that Nova Post launched courier delivery in Austria, which became the company's 15th external market.
It was also reported that the Nova Group, the owner of Nova Post, doubled investments to 8.5 billion hryvn in 2024 compared to 2021.
