Armenia to increase defense expenditures by 20% in 2025

YEREVAN. Oct 28 (Interfax) - Armenia will increase defense expenditures by 20% to 664 billion dram ($1.71 billion) in 2025, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said.

"Defense expenditures will reach 6% of GDP in 2025, which is 0.7% more than in 2024," Hovhannisyan said during a discussion of the draft national budget for 2025.
