Ukrainian Economy Ministry distributing import quotas for 267,800 tonnes of cane sugar

MOSCOW. Oct 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Economy Ministry is distributing tariff quotas for importing raw cane sugar in 2025, Ukrainian media said, citing the ministry website.

Consistent with the regulations on issuing licenses for Ukraine's import of raw cane sugar within tariff quotas, approved by the Economy Ministry order of January 20, 2009, some 267,800 tonnes of 1701 13 and 1701 14 sub-items of Ukraine's HS Code for Exports and Imports will be delivered to Ukraine in 2025, it said.

The ministry said it would start accepting applications on January 1, 2025.

According to Ukraine's HS Code for Exports and Imports, sub-items 1701 13 and 1701 14 include cane sugar for refining and other types of cane sugar.
