Ukraine sees flour prices going up
MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - In Ukraine, prices on flour of the highest grade went up by UAH 200-400 per tonne in the past week, Ukrainian media reported citing APK-Inform.
"This is mainly a result of a fairly significant increase in raw materials prices and difficulties with purchasing high-quality grain due to a lack of supply on the market. However, low customer demand and considerable stockpiles accumulated by most producers are holding back a more significant increase in prices," the analysts said.
As of October 25, prices on premium flour are keeping within the range of UAH 14,000-15,500 per tonne EXW, which is by UAH 200-400 higher than at the end of last week, APK-Inform said.
