Uzbekistan developing cooperation with Sberbank

TASHKENT. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed developing collaboration with Sberbank Russia with the lending institution's CEO Herman Gref, Uzbek media said on Thursday.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan.

"Matters on developing mutually beneficial collaboration in the area of digital technologies, innovations, and education were discussed," Uzbek media said.

The press service said that the opening of the second campus of School 21 in Tashkent to train highly qualified specialists and engineers in the area of digital technologies was met with enjoyment.

Important joint projects to implement efficient digital solutions in the banking sector and urban infrastructure management were noted, the press service said.
