Ukraine receives $1.1 bln tranche from IMF - prime minister
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Ukraine has received about $1.1 billion from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"The money will cover important budget expenditures of a non-military nature. We have received the tranche thanks to the successful fifth review of the EFF arrangement in the amount of $15.6 billion," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal's statement on a social network on Wednesday.
"We are grateful to the Fund for its consistent support for Ukraine. Our joint work on the next arrangement review is about to begin," he said.
