Belarusian president arrives in Kazan for BRICS summit
MINSK. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Russia's Kazan to attend the BRICS summit, the First Man's Pool Telegram channel close to the Belarusian president's press service said on Wednesday.
Lukashenko is expected to take part in the 16th BRICS summit's session in the BRICS+/Outreach format, his press service said.
The leaders of these countries plan to discuss key international issues, coordination of interaction within BRICS as a foundation of multilateralism, as well as steps to boost the global majority's consolidation and resolve current regional conflicts as soon as possible. Lukashenko will also have a number of international contacts.
