Sberbank releases latest smartphone banking app for iOS, reminds about disabling old versions

MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax) - Sberbank has released the latest banking app for smartphones using iOS, the lending institution said.

Sberbank says that iPhone owners may download the latest official version of the Sberbank Online Budget Online app from the App Store. A valid bankcard number is required in order to log in to the system.

Sberbank warns that it does not plan to release new versions of the app in the App Store until the end of this year.

"It is important to remember this in order not to fall victim to fraudsters who have learned to falsify logos and even corporate colors so that fake apps look like real ones," the lending institution said.

Sberbank reminds about disabling the oldest versions of the app, namely 12.15, 14.3, and 14.11.
