VostSibUgol LLC takes over sole dealer of proprietary solid fuel

IRKUTSK. Oct 21 (Interfax) - The founders of VostSibUgol LLC have decided to reorganize the enterprise by merging VostSibUgleSbyt LLC with it, VostSibUgol said.

VostSibUgleSbyt will cease operations upon completion of the reorganization.

The coal company's press service has not commented on the reorganization plans.

Information on the VostSibUgleSbyt website indicates that VostSibUgol is the sole dealer of solid fuel mined at the company's open-pit mines. The trader sells around 500,000 tonnes of coal annually. The company's main clients are thermal power plants of Baikal Energy Company (BEC), which produces electricity and is controlled by Irkutskenergo and En+ , and various housing and utility services enterprises. The dealer is also involved in export deliveries of coal.

VostSibUgol is the principal supplier of fuel for coal-fired power plants in the Irkutsk Region. Its assets are located in the Irkutsk Region, and the Zabaikalsk and Krasnoyarsk territories and Tuva.

The Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) indicates that BEC with a 98.65% stake in the capital of the LLC and Baikalinvestenergo LLC with a 1.35% stake are the founders of VostSibUgol.
