Kazakh president expected to pay official visit to Czech Republic
ASTANA. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky has invited Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay an official visit to Prague, the Kazakh leader's press service said.
During their meeting, Tokayev spoke about the years-long fruitful cooperation between the countries and said Kazakhstan is committed to cooperation with the Czech Republic, which it sees as one of the important partners in the European Union. He spoke about the potential for further development of trade and investment connections, saying he is ready to continue supporting Czech investors.
"Jan Lipavsky thanked the president for the meeting and extended him an invitation from Czech President Petr Pavel to pay an official visit to Prague," the statement said.
