Armenia not discussing joining BRICS - Armenian deputy PM

YEREVAN. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Armenia is not planning to become a BRICS member, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said on Monday.

"No, no, at this stage no. There are no such discussions," Grigoryan said, responding to a journalist's question.

According to earlier reports, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will attend the BRICS summit.

The BRICS summit will be held in Kazan on October 22-24.
