Europlan boosts volume of new business 8% to 184.7 bln rubles in 9M 2024
MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Europlan purchased and leased over 43,000 units of vehicles and equipment totaling 184.7 billion rubles plus VAT in January-September 2024, the leasing company said in a press release.
The number of leasing transactions increased 11% in the nine months, with overall transactions reaching 655,000.
New business in the passenger car segment grew 14% to 64 billion rubles. Lada, Haval, and Geely were the sales leaders. New business in the commercial transport segment rose 8% to 93 billion rubles and new business in the self-propelled vehicles segment declined 3% to 28 billion rubles. GAZ, UAZ, and Sollers were the sales leaders in the commercial transport segment, and China's XCMG, LGCE, and Sany were the sales leaders in the self-propelled vehicles segment.
Europlan management plans to suggest that the board of directors decide to recommend that shareholders allocate around 6 billion rubles to pay out dividends based on the results for nine months.
The company in August said that management had planned to recommend to the board of directors to consider paying out dividends totaling around 3 billion rubles for the first nine months.
Founded in 1999, Europlan specializes in leasing passenger cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles, as well as special-purpose machinery and equipment.
