World Bank keeps 2024 GDP growth outlook for Kazakhstan at 3.4%

ALMATY. Oct 17 (Interfax) - The World Bank still expects Kazakhstan's economy to grow 3.4% in 2024, according to the updated Global Economic Prospects report.

The World Bank also kept the economic growth outlook for Kazakhstan in 2025 unchanged from the June report at 4.7%.

According to the October report, Kazakhstan's GDP will expand by 3.5% in 2026 compared with the June projection of 3.6%.

Kazakh National Economy Minister Nurlan Baibazarov said earlier that the economy grew 4% in January-September 2024.

GDP grew 5.1% in 2023.
