We Build Ukraine Foundation holds first workshop to develop economic strategy
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - We Build Ukraine Foundation and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have conducted a first online workshop to present a comprehensive study of Ukraine's economic growth scenarios.
"This study underscores the importance of targeted investment and strategic sectoral prioritization in Ukraine's economic recovery. The analysis points to the areas with the greatest growth and sustainable development potential, which will be key to Ukraine's recovery," Ukrainian media quoted We Build Ukraine Foundation as saying in a statement.
Alexander Kubrakov, founder of We Build Ukraine Foundation, said proposals of business associations and international companies made during the workshop would be taken into account in draft solutions for implementing an economic growth strategy for Ukraine.
"We Build Ukraine, an independent think tank, will develop and implement the Action Plan, taking into account the position of business associations, local and international companies, to present ready-made solutions to the government," he said.
The foundation plans to conduct a series of such workshops by the end of the year to continue a broader dialogue and make proposals on addressing Ukraine economic challenges.
As reported, Kubrakov, former Ukrainian deputy prime minister for reconstruction and former minister for the development of communities, territories, and infrastructure, founded and headed We Build Ukraine Foundation to develop a strategy for Ukraine's economic recovery.
