Ukrainian Foreign Ministry dismisses allegations of sending drones to Malian insurgents
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Ukraine categorically denies the allegations of its role in sending unmanned aerial vehicles to insurgents in Mali, Ukrainian media quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on October 14.
"We also categorically deny all the regular accusations made by the high-ranking officials of the Republic of Mali and the Republic of Niger, that Ukraine is allegedly involved in 'cooperation with terrorists, 'arms supplies and providing them with information', 'support to the terrorist coalition', etc.," the ministry said.
Malian and Nigerien leaders have previously claimed that Ukraine was involved in collaboration with anti-government forces in conflicts in those countries.
