VEON to move HQ from Amsterdam to Dubai

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - The telecoms holding VEON plans to move its headquarters from Amsterdam to Dubai, the company said.

VEON's operational hub has been located in Dubai since 2022.

The decision to relocate its headquarters reflects the company's strategic realignment of its focus with a closer proximity to its markets, it said.

VEON operates in Ukraine, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

VEON's largest shareholder is LetterOne, which owns 45.5% of shares. VEON trades on the NASDAQ and Euronext.
