Ukraine's DTEK Group replaces heads of 3 companies

MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Ukraine's DTEK Group has replaced the heads of DTEK Energo, DTEK Grids and D.TRADING and appointed Alexander Fomenko, Alina Bondarenko and Dmitry Sakharuk to the positions, Ukrainian media said, citing the company website.

Fomenko, who has been in charge of DTEK Grids since May 2022, will replace Ildar Saleyev, who will enhance top management of Metinvest Group.

"Key priorities of Fomenko on the new position will be the generation of sufficient amounts of electricity for the power grid, the attraction of international technical assistance, the restoration of generation facilities, and the stable coal mining," the statement said.

Bondarenko served as DTEK Grids operations director in charge of investment programs of distribution network operators in recent years. Her highest priority will be the prompt restoration of distribution networks and the development of Smart Grids projects.

Sakharuk, who has been working with DTEK since 2019, will be developing D.Trading on foreign energy markets and promoting faster European integration of the energy sector.

DTEK was founded in 2005 to manage energy assets of Rinat Akhmetov's System Capital Management Group (SCM Donetsk). It was tasked with strategic management of a vertically integrated chain of enterprises mining and enriching coal and generating and distributing electricity.
