Russian oil exports to Hungary expected to total 5 mln tonnes in 2024 - FM Szijjarto

ST. PETERSBURG. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Russian oil supplies to Hungary should total 5 million tonnes in 2024, Hungary's Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto told reporters on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

"We have received 3.4 million tonnes of oil from Russia via the Druzhba pipeline to date. [...] Deliveries should total around 5 million tonnes for the year," Szijjarto said.

Szijjarto also said that Hungary expects to maintain imports of Russian oil at the same level next year as part of the current contract.
