Russia considering possible cross-years with Vietnam, India - presidential rep
MOSCOW. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Russia and Vietnam are considering a possible cross-year of science and education, while Russia and India are considering a possible Year of Russia in India and Year of India in Russia, Russian special presidential representative for international cultural cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi said.
"One of the projects we are working on is a Year of Russia in India and a Year of India in Russia. All of this is still in a blueprint. We have also started to discuss a cross-year of science and education with Vietnamese colleagues," Shvydkoi said on the Rossiya-24 television channel (VGTRK).
"It would also make sense to consider a complex project - holding years of culture with BRICS states," he said.
Egypt also wants to develop cultural cooperation, Shvydkoi said.
