Russian PM appoints Maxim Borovoi as deputy agriculture minister

MOSCOW. Oct 9 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has promoted Maxim Borovoi, the director of the Agriculture Ministry's amelioration department, to the position of deputy minister of agriculture, an October 7 order posted on the official legal website showed.

Prior to joining the Agriculture Ministry, Borovoi held various positions at Rosbank and Russian Agricultural Bank. He served as director of the Agriculture Ministry's rural development department from November 2018 to February 2020 and then worked at commercial organizations until August 2022, when he was appointed director of the ministry's amelioration department.
