Russian internet holding VK acquires 20% of automated ticket sales developer
MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Russia's VK internet holding has acquired a 20% stake in NKS Technologies LLC, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
A representative of VK confirmed the stake had been acquired without clarifying the details of the deal. "It's a team of IT developers that VK plans to use in its projects," the representative told Interfax.
VK also did not say what projects the team would work on. According to NKS Technologies' website, the company specializes in automated ticket sales via various channels. A "leading Russian platform for ticket operations" is one of its customers.

Interfax's sources said on October 2 that VK had acquired 10% of the Kassir.ru ticket operator. The estimated value of the deal is 500 million rubles.
In addition, VK became a co-owner of another ticket service, Intickets.ru, in May, having bought 40% of Intickets LLC. The value of the deal including deferred payment is 723 million rubles, VK later reported.
