Ukrgasvydobuvannya pays UAH 16.9 bln in gas rent to budget in Jan-Sept 2024

MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Ukrainian gas producer JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV) transferred UAH 16.9 billion in rent payments to the country's budget in January-September 2024.

"Of this amount, UAH 844.8 million, or 5%, were paid to regional budgets and the budgets of territories where Ukrgasvydobuvannya operates," Ukrainian media quoted the company as saying in a statement on its website.

A total of UAH 439 million were paid to the budget of the Kharkov region, UAH 336.7 million to the budget of the Poltava region, UAH 33.9 million to the budget of the Lvov region, UAH 16.4 million to the budget of the Dnepropetrovsk region, and UAH 18.8 million to the budgets of other regions, it said.

As previously reported, UGV's production of (marketable) natural gas dropped 3% to 12.5 billion cubic meters in 2022 year-on-year. It produced 13.224 bcm of gas in 2023, 0.679 bcm more than in 2022.

Naftogaz owns 100% of UGV.
