Oleg Vyugin resigning as chairman of the board of directors at NAUFOR
MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Oleg Vyugin has decided to resign as chairman of the board of directors at the Russian National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR).
"Oleg Vyugin announced that he is leaving at today's meeting of the board of directors. [...] I would like to express my deep personal gratitude to Oleg Vyugin for his work in the association; for the support he has always provided me as the director of NAUFOR; for his contribution to developing the financial market, an important part of our work; and confidence that we will continue to cooperate in this," NAUFOR president Alexei Timofeev posted on social media.
Vyugin has been board chairman at NAUFOR since 2010.
NAUFOR re-elects its board of directors every two years. Vyugin, who was previously first deputy governor of the Bank of Russia and director of the Federal Financial Markets Service, among other positions, was re-elected board chairman at NAUFOR in August 2023.
