Russia's consolidated budget surplus rises to 1.77 trln rubles in January-August - Treasury
MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Russia's consolidated budget surplus totaled around 1.766 trillion rubles in January-August 2024 according to preliminary estimates, the Federal Treasury said in materials posted on its website.
Russia's consolidated budget surplus totaled around 1.014 trillion rubles in January-July 2024, the Federal Treasury previously reported, meaning that it was executed at a surplus of 752.1 billion rubles in August.
Consolidated budget revenues totaled nearly 45.347 trillion rubles and expenses totaled nearly 43.581 trillion rubles in January-August.
Russia's federal budget deficit contracted to 27.6 billion rubles in January-August from around 1.098 trillion rubles in January-July. Consequently, the federal budget surplus totaled nearly 1.071 trillion rubles in August, thereby setting the positive result of the consolidated budget in the month.
Federal budget revenues totaled about 23.036 trillion rubles and expenditures totaled nearly 23.064 trillion rubles in the eight months.
The consolidated budgets of Russia's constituent entities were executed at a surplus of nearly 1.351 trillion rubles in January-August, down from about 1.498 trillion rubles in January-July.
The revenues of regional budgets totaled about 15.15 trillion rubles and expenditures totaled around 13.799 trillion rubles in the period.
The budgets of state non-budgetary funds were executed at a surplus of 327.8 billion rubles in January-August, with revenues totaling around 12.634 trillion rubles and expenditures totaling about 12.306 trillion rubles.
The budgets of territorial state non-budgetary funds were executed at a surplus of 115.4 billion rubles, with revenues totaling about 2.207 trillion rubles and expenses totaling nearly 2.092 trillion rubles.
