ISS orbit lifted by almost 3 kilometers - Russia's Roscosmos
MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - The Progress MS-28 resupply ship has adjusted the International Space Station (ISS) orbit, Roscosmos said on Friday.
"The average altitude of the station orbit has grown by 2.9 kilometers to 419 kilometers," Roscosmos said.
Engines of the Progress MS-28 resupply ship, latched on to the Zvezda service module of the ISS Russian segment, were started at 11:44 a.m., it said.
"According to the preliminary information of the Mission Control Center of the Central Research Institute for Machine Building, the engines ran for 1,207.62 seconds and gave an impetus of 1.66 meters per second," Roscosmos said.
