IAEA experts undergo rotation at Zaporozhye NPP
SIMFEROPOL. Oct 3 (Interfax) - Experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stationed at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant have undergone the 24th rotation, the plant said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
"Another rotation of observers from the International Atomic Energy Agency mission took place at the Zaporozhye NPP today," the statement said.
This is the 24th rotation conducted since September 1, 2022. The mission consists of four experts. "Same as before, they are tasked with observing and appraising the plant's safety and security," the statement said.
The previous rotation took place on September 4 during IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi's visit to the plant.
"The Russian Armed Forces together with units of the Russian National Guard provided the safe rotation of IAEA observers just as always," the statement said.
