Two HeadHunter cos secure Cypriot permission to move to Russia

MOSCOW. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The Cyprus-based companies of HeadHunter Group (HH), Headhunter Group Plc and Headhunter FSU Ltd, have received certification from the Cypriot registrar for the continuation of their business in a foreign jurisdiction, which they need for their redomiciliation to Russia, IPJSC Headhunter reported.

The certificates are "official permission for the companies' move to Russia and the group has now begun the necessary registration actions," the press release said.

IPJSC Headhunter, the group's new Russia-based parent company, began trading on the Moscow Exchange on September 26. The company is in the process of a corporate restructure, the second stage of which involves increasing its stake in Cyprus-based Headhunter Group Plc, the original parent company, to 85.71% from 72.7%.

The completion of the redomiciliation will set the stage for announcing and making dividend payments to shareholders, the company said. The company earlier announced a special dividend of 640-700 rubles per share that might be paid before the end of 2024.
