Belarusian Finance Ministry completes additional placement of $50 mln bond issue early

MINSK. Oct 2 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Finance Ministry on Tuesday completed an additional placement of $12.6 million of its No. 326 bond issue totaling $50 million on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, the ministry reported.

"The placement of government bond issue No. 326 was completed in the exchange's trading system on October 1. The securities have been sold in the full amount, $50 million," the ministry said.

The ministry placed bonds totaling $37.4 million from this issue on August 28 at 2.5% interest.

The ministry announced on September 3 that the rest of the issue will be placed on the exchange in the period from September 4 to December 23 through public sale, without an auction.

The five-year (1,825-day) bonds with face value of $1,000 each mature on August 27, 2029. Interest on them will be paid semiannually, on February 26-28 and August 27-28.
