Russia could allocate 1.5 bln rubles in 2025-27 to support developing logistics, infrastructure abroad

MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russian companies in 2025-2027 could receive 1.5 billion rubles in government support for projects to develop logistics and infrastructure in new foreign markets, according to the explanatory note to the draft federal budget for 2025 and the 2026-2027 planning period.

The document indicates that the government could allocate 500 million rubles annually for state support to establish transport and logistics centers and industrial zones in pivotal countries for the next three years.

The funds could be allocated as part of the Creating Foreign Infrastructure federal project.

President Vladimir Putin previously instructed the government jointly with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) to develop proposals for additional support measures for Russian companies in the area of international logistics, namely to establish sustainable logistics chains and infrastructure for international economic activity in new markets in Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia.
