Putin certain Russian-Chinese comprehensive partnership, strategic cooperation will become even stronger

MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent his greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

"China is welcoming this milestone anniversary with impressive successes in its economic, social, scientific and technological development. Under your leadership, China has successfully been strengthening its positions on the world stage, playing an important role in resolving key problems on the regional and global agenda," Putin said in the telegram published on the Kremlin website.

"We value our friendly and good neighborly ties with Beijing. Despite the difficult international situation, we have recently managed to achieve a qualitative increase in mutual trade and to implement quite a lot of large-scale bilateral projects in different areas. Productive Russian-Chinese interaction within the UN, BRICS, the SCO and other multilateral entities is a matter of great significance," he said.

"And we will certainly continue our joint work in order to advance the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China for the benefit of our peoples," he said.

Putin wished Xi good health and success. He also wished all Chinese citizens happiness and prosperity.
